Letter to the Editor 10/23
Editor:
Americans love their country. We want it to be a good place to live, for all our citizens. The partisan fighting has exhausted all of us. We want a return to morality and community. We want our government to protect our people (with safe and equitable schools, neighborhoods, food, job sites, and health care), protect our air, water and land for generations to come; and protect our country. We voters mostly have dreams we share.
American voters want an end to lies. We want to work together to make our communities stronger. This divisiveness hurts us all. Election tricks and bad behavior bring us all down. Think about what you want America to be like. And go out and vote. Then take down all the signs, talk to your neighbors, volunteer for community service organizations to help those who need help, and stay involved.
