Discover Holiday Magic: Shop Small Saturday in Downtown Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN — Downtown Lock Haven will be bursting with holiday spirit this Saturday, December 13, 2025, as Downtown Lock Haven Inc. welcomes residents and visitors to enjoy a festive shopping experience during its second Shop Small Saturday of the Christmas season. Offering a lively mix of free family activities, exclusive deals at local businesses, and appearances by Santa, Mrs. Claus, and The Grinch, the downtown area is pulling out all the stops for holiday shoppers and families alike.
Kick off the festivities this Saturday at Penny Lane Mini-Mall, 143 E. Main Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Families won’t want to miss special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, free face painting, free personalized caricature drawings by local artist Sam Saxton, and free popcorn at Travel Haven LLC (130 E. Shoppers can look forward to special sales and engaging activities throughout the downtown district, including:
• Cookie decorating at Caramia’s ReLoved Fashion (132 E. Main Street)
• Design-your-own holiday jewelry art for kids at Addie’s Inc. (202 E. Main Street)
• Visits from The Grinch and festive photo opportunities
Many local businesses are also joining in the celebration. Blonde Boutique (228 E. Main Street) will offer a free gift with any $75 purchase, $5 off candles and slippers, “Blonde Bucks” with $150 purchases, plus new markdowns and arrivals. It Is What It Is Sweet Shop (105-109 E. Main Street) will be introducing the new TikTok-famous K-pop Tasty Sounds Lollipops, among many other unique treats and gifts. Travel Haven LLC invites guests to book a consultation for their dream vacation while enjoying free popcorn and other family-friendly activities in Penny Lane Mini-Mall. Families can also catch holiday movies at The Official Roxy Movie Theatre. Caramia’s ReLoved Fashion, The Skeleton Key Boutique (19 E. Main Street), and other participating shops will also be featuring special offers for those in search of the perfect Christmas gifts.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be delighted to welcome children at Santa’s Hut, located in Gingerbread Lane (Fallon Alley, next to The Apothecary at 125 E. Main Street) this Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They’ll also return to the Hut next weekend—on Friday, December 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, December 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.—for more holiday fun.
