Woodward Township’s Riverfest 2022 kicks off Thursday

LOCKPORT, PA – Pack up the camp chairs, stop at the ATM and get on down to Woodward Township for Riverfest 2022.
Back again in its 25th year, Riverfest offers much for those looking to get out this weekend at the Lockport Boat Launch area.
Beginning on Thursday, Riverfest officially opens at 5 p.m. with food and arts/crafts vendors and the band Flashback at 6 p.m.
Friday sees Riverfest again opening at 5 p.m. with Classic Rock Revival taking the stage at 6 p.m.
The fun doesn’t end on Friday. Saturday will see the band Quarter Stick from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the annual Duck Derby at 5 p.m. There will be fireworks at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Riverfest has always been an annual community fundraiser for the Woodward Township Recreation Committee with proceeds going towards upkeep and maintenance of Riverpark and the Lockport Boat Launch.
Food will be available for purchase throughout the event with various vendors and the Dunnstown Fire Company offering hot dogs, sausages, pizza and more.
