Lady ‘Cat Volleyball Rolls over Williamsport, 3-0

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Mountain volleyball team continued their winning ways after a loss earlier in the week to Penns Valley with a 3-0 home sweep of Williamsport.

The Lady Wildcats loaded up on Williamsport 25-14 in the first game, 25-12 in game two and finished off the night with a 25-16 win in the final game.

Central Mountain head coach, Scott Garman substituted freely through the night offering his bench some valuable playing time and game experience.

Leading the way statistically for the Lady ‘Cats were: Mallory Eck with 10 aces, 1 kill, 3 assists and 4 digs. McKenzie Janna with 3 aces, 8 kills, 3 assists and 5 digs. Lonnie Duck had 8 kills, 2 assists and 4 digs. Evie Rembold recorded 8 kills and had 1 dig. CM Labero, Emily Bartlett, had 10 gigs to her credit.

The win takes Central Mountain to 10-4 on the season and the Lady Wildcats will next see action when they travel to DuBois on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2020.
