Obituary
David Jack Schoonover, age 84 of Youngstown, husband of Agnes Schoonover (Nee Bobak), entered into rest on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. David was born January 19, 1937, in Renovo, PA. He is the son of the late David R. and the late Helen (Lupro) Schoonover. He married Agnes Bobak on June 29, 1957.
Jack retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Niagara Falls, NY as a Millwright in 1995 after 33 years. He spent over 25 years served in the Civil Defense , enjoyed riding his motorcycle, flying, spending time with his family, and spending many years at his cabin in Renovo, PA that he built.
He is survived by his wife: Agnes (Bobak) Schoonover; several children, David (Janice) Schoonover, Jerome (Carol) Schoonover, Terri (Robert) Carlo, Karen (Kenneth) Lilly; his brother Frank Schoonover; a daughter in law, Debbie Schoonover and son in law, Rick Price, also 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his children Vicki J. Price and Mark Schoonover and his brother Thomas Schoonover.
Calling hours will be held at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY on FRIDAY (11/5) from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home immediately following at 7:00 PM. As per request cremation will take place after the services have been completed.
