Obituary – Michael S. DeAngelis

Michael S. DeAngelis, 42, of Flemington, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at his home.

Born November 3, 1982, he was the son of the late Michael D. DeAngelis and Robin McDonald DeAngelis, who survives in Flemington.

Mike was a 2001 graduate of Central Mountain High School and obtained a degree in Business from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport.

He worked for many years as a shift manager at Pilot Travel Center of Lamar.

Mike was affectionately known by his friends as “D-Lo.” He was an avid sports fan of college basketball and college and professional football – especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers, which was reflected in his huge collection of Steeler’s memorabilia. Mike also enjoyed spending time gaming on his computer.

In addition to his mother, Robin, he is survived by two aunts, Debra Welsh and Bernie (Tony) Vebrosky of Frackville; two cousins, Emily (Ryan) Vebrosky of North Carolina and Angela (Robert) King Welsh of Beech Creek, who was a wonderful cousin to Mike.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Betty DeAngelis.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Dr. Russell Moldovan officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Clinton County SPCA.
