Floruss, Williams Qualify for District Golf Championships

ALTOONA – Two Wildcat golfers made the cut at the District 6 AAA sectional round today at the Sinking Valley Country Club to advance to the District Championship at Scotch Valley Country Club on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019.

Jason Floruss placed seventh overall with a score of 83 and Brady Williams made the cut at ninth place with a round of 84.

Chase Confer, Gunner Redmond and Zach Somers all turned in a score of 95 and Brayden Confer with 110, all finishing out of the running to advance.

State College placed first in the team race with a team score of 317 followed by Hollidaysburg with 331.
