Hollidaysburg Defeats Central Mountain Tennis
MILL HALL – Central Mountain dropped a 5–0 decision at home Tuesday against visiting Hollidaysburg in girls tennis.
The Lady Wildcats were forced to compete without their No. 1 and No. 2 players, but still managed to turn in some strong efforts. Head coach Tom Zettle noted that “even if the scores didn’t show it,” there were bright spots, including No. 2 doubles. The team of Tess Akeley and Leah Wian played up at the No. 1 spot and battled tough before falling 6–3, 6–3.
Central Mountain will be right back on the court Wednesday, hosting Selinsgrove.
