THE CLINTON COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT and PENN STATE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION MASTER GARDNERS TREE/PLANT SHOPPING DAYS LEFTOVERS

The Clinton County Conservation District in coordination with Penn State Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardener program have leftover trees(seedlings) and plants from the tree/plant sale this year. Both partners will be taking orders through walk-in’s or through phone call during business hours until supplies run out. 

The Conservation District seedlings available this year 5 for $12.00+tax include:   White Flowering Dogwood, Colorado Blue Spruce, Chinese Chestnut, Black Cherry, Red Oak, Persimmon, American Elderberry, Spicebush and American Cranberry.

Apple Trees in a bundle of 2 (1 HoneyCrisp & 1 SuperChief) for $45.00+tax.  These apple trees are all approximately 4-6 feet tall.  

Master Gardner has 5 premade planters for $15 each. Annuals for sale are: White or Purple Alyssum($2.00/each), ‘Strawberry punch’ Supertunia($2.00/each), ‘Aloha Kona Hula’ Calibrachoa($2.00/each), and Sun Patien Compact Purple($2.00/each). Also for sale are vegetables:  Jalapeno, Hungarian, and Poblano Peppers ($1.00/each), and Bravo Cabbage($1.00/each).  

Anyone interested in buying can contact either Charly (Conservation District) or Ginny (Master Gardeners) during business hours of 8am – 5pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and 8am-12:30pm on Wed to place orders.  Plant pickup will be at the Clinton County Conservation District office, located at: 45 Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall (located along Route 64 North of Lamar).
