Dush, Borowicz Confirm $400,000 Multimodal Transportation Grant for Renovo Borough
RENOVO — Sen. Cris Dush (R-25) and Rep. Stephanie Borowicz (R-76) announced Monday that Renovo Borough has been awarded a grant totaling approximately $400,000 to rehabilitate Delaware Avenue.
“Renovo Borough is set to receive significant funding that will be used to offset the financial burden local taxpayers would have otherwise felt for this critical infrastructure rehabilitation project,” said Dush. “With so many families struggling with ever-rising costs and inflation, I am grateful to have played a role in securing this highly competitive funding for the benefit of Clinton County residents, job creators, motorists, and pedestrians.”
The funding comes from the Multimodal Transportation Fund under the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which manages the state’s economic stimulus programs. The fund provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation is available across the Commonwealth.
“I am glad to see Renovo Borough receive this grant to rehabilitate Delaware Ave. and ensure a safer, more reliable system in the borough,” said Borowicz “Congratulations to the borough and our citizens”
