FARWELL, PA – A local holiday favorite in the village of Farwell is A Little Magic in the Air; a magical walk and drive-through neighborhood gathering of lights, music, treats, and surprises.

This year is no different than year’s past. The amount of Christmas lights, inflatables, figures, and creativity that comes from the people of Farwell is simply astounding.

Though most homes will be “lit up and ready to go” by just after Thanksgiving, A Little Magic in the Air will be held on Saturday, December 9 starting at 6 p.m..

Farwell neighbor and Record contributor Bees O’Brien was of little help to The Record in disclosing what is “up his sleeve” for his holiday display.

“CLASSIFIED,” is what he was able to tell local media. “We like to keep things a surprise but there’s plenty of new additions,” he said. “Farwell is the Wild West; (almost) anything goes up here when it comes to holiday light displays.”

Farwell resident Margaret Riggle was spotted at Hobby Lobby and at Weis in Lock Haven in early November “buying treats” and stocking up on all sorts of candies, sugary-treats, and holiday decorations. “I got a lot of crazy looks,” she told The Record, showing off a car-load of goodies for the weekend visitors.

This year’s light display will be nothing short of spectacular as the residents of Farwell have shown and proven again and again. If you haven’t been out to see the lights, you surely will not want to miss it.

Everyone visiting A Little Magic in the Air, can expect lights, activities music, live reindeer, Santa Claus and much more and are asked to please park at The Bucktail School campus . Parking is not allowed along Route 120.
