Leaving Two vacancies to Fill

RENOVO – Colleen Testa has resigned from the Renovo Borough Council, leaving two vacancies on the borough’s governing body. A vacancy had already existed following the death of Paul Fantaskey.

Testa has reportedly submitted a letter of resignation to council.

Testa has served on council the past several years. She had the following message posted on her Facebook page: “Former Council at Renovo, PA August 16, 2012 to October 24, 2014.”

She was one the recent predominately female council along with Merry Ann Olshefskie, Patricia Rauch, Anne Tarantella, and Rhonda Balchun.

Last year she spearheaded a grass roots effort to clean up the town prior to the Flaming Foliage Festival. She also contacted state leaders and SEDA-COG officials to help bring financial and other help to the Renovo area.

An attempt to reach Testa for comment was unsuccessful.
