Lady Buck 2-2Start

FARWELL – The Bucktail Lady Bucks tennis went 1-1 this past week as they are still sporting a .500 record of 2-2 on the season.

This past Tuesday’s match against Bloomsburg was postponed. No make-up date has been set yet. Coming up for the Lady Bucks is a trip back to the Northern Tier this Friday as they will face Cowanesque Valley.  Volleying starts at 4:00 PM. On Tuesday, the Lady Bucks will travel to Muncy as serving starts at 4 p.m. Next Thursday, the Lady Bucks return home to host Liberty starting at 4 p.m.

Last Tuesday, the tennis team hosted Muncy and won 4-1. Maria Morgan and Abby Ransom cruised through their match for wins. Both double teams won an exciting two set matches; they are Emalea Mills and Alaina Tripp for one as the other team consisted of Bridget Gardner and Leela Singh. 

Last Thursday at South Williamsport the Lady Bucks received something they have not done in a long time and that is coming out of a match without a win; South Williamsport winning 5-0 over the Lady Bucks.
