New Mill Hall Bridge Completed, Opened
MILL HALL — Mill Hall’s Main Street bridge replacement project began in January and finished this week, the new structure over Fishing Creek opening to traffic today.
ClearWater Construction, Inc. of Mercer, PA was the contractor for the $2.2 million project. Work included construction of t new bridge, water line relocation, sidewalk, drainage, and guide rail improvements, and roadway paving.
The new structure replaces a structurally deficient span built in 1933. PennDOT said the bridge carries some 1,300 vehicles each day.
