Altoona tops CM volleyball

ALTOONA, PA – Central Mountain volleyball fell on the road Monday night to Altoona 3 sets to 1. With the loss CM falls to 9-5 on the season. The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Philipsburg to take on the Mounties.

Most recent District 6 4A rankings show State College (7-4) on top, Central Mountain (9-5) second, Altoona (6-8) third and Mifflin County (7-9) fourth.

The district tourney semifinals are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the higher seeded team, the championship Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at Bald Eagle Area High School, Wingate.
