Vivian A. Serafini – Obituary

ObitArtVivian A. Serafini, 90, of 1935 Delaware Ave., Renovo, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at Susque View Home in Lock Haven.

Vivian was born in Renovo on March 1, 1924, the daughter of the late Chester P. and Alice Hills Wagner.

She was married to Irvin Shearer who preceded her in death.  She then married Ernest J. Serafini who also preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2008.

Vivian worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.  In her free time she enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and search-a-word.  She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting.

Vivian is survived by two sons, Roger (Donna) Kshir of North Bend and Merle (Justine) Cummings of Renovo; a daughter, Marilyn (John) Schenck of Renovo; a step-son, Bill Kshir of Mansfield; a step-daughter, Joanne Kshir of Mansfield; a brother, Donald Wagner of Ga.; three sisters, Shirley Hine of Williamsport and Beckey Saltsman and Donna Long, both of Renovo; eight grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vivian was preceded in death by a stepmother, Pearl Wagner; three brothers, James, Clarence and Raymond Wagner; and a sister, Frances Lacey.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
