Area Veterans Honor Flag Day with Proper Retirement of Worn American Flags

RENOVO-Area Veterans observed Flag Day Saturday afternoon at the 16th Street Park in Renovo as they performed the dignified retirement and disposal of worn and or damaged American Flags. The flags that have flown proudly throughout western Clinton County went through several inspections and were deemed unfit to fly any longer. The flags have flown on area homes, cemeteries, monuments and businesses and were turned over to the veterans for proper disposal as they perform publicly every Flag Day on June 14th.
