Obituary
Stewart McVay Woomer, 52, of State College, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home.
Born May 28, 1969 in Lock Haven, Stewart was the son of the late Lee E. Woomer and Jean Wertz Woomer who survives in Marsh Creek.
He was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and a Veteran of the United States Army.
Stewart was always considerate of others and enjoyed offering a helping hand. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed taking care of their pets when they were traveling.
In addition to his mother, Jean, he is survived by a sister, Leanne M. (Kent) Young of Lock Haven; a brother, Michael L. Woomer of Marsh Creek; and four nephews: Derek (Katie), Dustin (Dakoda), Bradley, and Joseph Young.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial taking place at Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Cemetery, Howard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
