Obituary -Priscilla Mae (Kline) Gentzyel
Priscilla Mae (Kline) Gentzyel, 84, of North Bend, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at her home.
Born August 5, 1940 in Hyner, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lena Melick Kline.
Priscilla was a 1958 graduate of Renovo High School.
On November 22, 1958, she married Franklin “Wimp” R. Gentzyel, who preceded her in death in 2010.
Priscilla was a member of North Bend United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Chapman Township Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed volunteering her time at Renovo Elementary School and for the Renovo Midget League.
In her free time, Priscilla enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by two sons, Carl (Pamela) Gentzyel and Todd (Melissa) Gentzyel; a daughter, Cathy (John) Shearer; a brother, Merle (Dolly) Prebble; seven grandchildren, Bryan (Kara) Shearer, Ashley (Brett) Kelley, Mario Gentzyel, Karlye (Nate Tote) Gentzyel, Kaetha (Remington) Mark, Nick (Tanya) Gentzyel and Trish (Chris) Decker; and seven great granddaughters, Audri and Brynlee Shearer, Harper and Maci Kelley, Gianna Gentzyel, Caroline Peck and Aubrey Haynes.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Werts, Kathleen Gentzyel and Clair Prebble; six brothers, Raymond, Don, Clyde, Frank, Jay and Earl Prebble; a daughter-in-law, Debra Casper Gentzyel; and a great grandson, Logan Decker.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 12 P.M. at North Bend United Methodist Church, 41 Main St., North Bend, PA 17760 with Pastor Robert Pickering officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
Private inurnment will take place at North Bend Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Bend United Methodist Church.
