Obituary
Harry Benjamin Gallagher, Jr., former resident of Yardley, Pa., age 89, died peacefully on December 28, 2021 surrounded by his family at home in Collegeville, Pa.
Harry was born in Benezette, Pa. July 8, 1932 and grew up in Lock Haven, Pa. He graduated from Lock Haven High School, Lock Haven University with a (BS ED) and Penn State University (M ED).
Harry was employed by the Pennsbury School District in 1954. During his years with Pennsbury he taught math at Medill Bair and William Penn Jr. High School. He was the assistant principal at Pennsbury High School and served 17 years as principal of Charles Boehm before retiring in 1993.
He was predeceased by his parents Harry B. and Mildred G. Gallagher, infant son Jamie B. Gallagher, infant brother Donald Gallagher, brothers Robert and Ronald and Ron’s wife, Sandy, and nephew Steve Gallagher.
Survived by his wife of 60 years Regina Gromley, son Mark B. Gallagher, daughters Susan R. Carney (Neil Jr.) and Michele G. Ferraro (James). Grandchildren Neil III and Tyler Carney, Mikayla and Annabel Ferraro, sister Doris J. Gallagher (Mike) and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends may call Wednesday, January 5th., from 10-11 am in the Donald Walker Funeral Home 231 High St. Flemington, Pa. Service at 11 am, Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
