Esther H. Bailor – Obituary
Esther H. Bailor, 94, of 22 Cree Dr., Lock Haven, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Haven Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born in Mill Hall on February 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Samuel C. and Rebecca E. Bower Confer.
Esther married John N. Bailor, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 27, 1987.
Esther was a homemaker for the majority of her life. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting dolls.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rosecran and had attended the Loganton Wesleyan Church.
Esther is survived by four daughters, Margaret L. Collins and Mary E. Cycak of Lock Haven, Rebecca Johnson of New Jersey, and Betty Jane Gagmon of Colorado; three sons, John Bailor, Jr. and Daniel C. Bailor of New Jersey and Robert Bailor of Lock Haven; a brother, Donald Confer of Loganton; fourteen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William C. Bailor; a daughter, Cora E. Bailor; and infant daughter, Shirley Bailor; a brother, Link Confer; and a sister, Edna George.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Pastor Daniel Reed officiating.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Rosecran.
