Thomas Michael Kessinger, Sr., 69, a lifelong resident of Flemington passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 surrounded by family at his home.
Born November 4, 1951 in Flemington, he was the son of the late Buddy and Dretta (McCloskey) Kessinger.
Tom was a 1969 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On July 3, 1976, he married his love, the former Linda F. Nyman, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.
Tom was employed at Haven Homes for 45 years.
He was a talented carpenter, using his skill to remodel several homes.
Tom enjoyed hunting and going to the casino as well as collecting coins.
In addition to wife, Linda F. Kessinger, he is survived by two sons, Shawn (Carrie) Kessinger of Tampa, Florida and Thomas (Lori) Kessinger, Jr. of Woolrich; his grandchildren, Austin Kessinger (Crystal) and Alexa Kessinger (Alex); his great granddaughter, Aria; and his special caregiver, Teri.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St. Flemington with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 until 8 P.M.
