June C. Hanna, 97, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Susqueview Nursing Home.
She was born November 22, 1923, in Lock Haven, the daughter of the late Lee and Fola Zimmerman Quiggle. June was raised by her grandparents John D. and Katherine Jenkins Zimmerman following the death of her mother when June was six years old.
June was a 1941 graduate of Lock Haven High School and worked for Robert Bullock at the Clinton County Courthouse.
On October 29, 1941 at the Immaculate Conception Church, she married Thomas M. Hanna, Sr., who died November 19, 2017.
She was an avid sports fan of Lock Haven High School, the University of Maryland, and Penn State. She was a member of the Clinton Country Club for many years, where she enjoyed playing golf, especially with the Central Counties Ladies team.
June is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Hanna Mullen, of Lock Haven, 2 sons, Thomas M. Hanna, Jr., and John D. Hanna (Susan Laubscher), both of State College., her loving grandchildren, Anne Mullen DelCallo (Dean), of Chadd’s Ford, Susan Muller Manganiello (Joseph), of St. Louis, MO, Elizabeth Hanna Dreibelbis (Jason), of Bellefonte, Scott E. Hanna(Kristin), of State College, Christopher L. Hanna, of Wilmington, NC, Thomas M. Hanna III (Elena), of Annapolis, MD, and Jessica L. Hanna, of Easton, MD, great-grandchildren, Samuel, Zachary, Andrew, Joseph, Robert, Lillian, Jason, Maddison, Payton, Carter, and Blake. June was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert L. Mullen.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lock Haven, with the Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to mass. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert L. Mullen Scholarship of Lock Haven University, or the Clinton County SPCA.
