Richard J. Foley, Jr. – Obituary

ObitArtRichard J. Foley, Jr., 69, formerly of 129 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, PA died Aug. 26, 2014 at the Susque-View Home, Lock Haven, PA.

He was born Dec. 1, 1944 in Buffalo, NY the son of the late Richard J. & Maxine Knickerbocker Foley. In 1972 he married Beverly G. Getz who died Oct. 1, 2001.

Dick served in the U. S. Army as a SP/4. He retired from Truck Lite after 10 yrs. service & had previously worked at Keystone Bindery.

He was a former member of American Legion Post 442, Renovo, PA and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing & gardening. Dick also enjoyed cooking, various crafts & drawing.

Richard is survived by two sons: Vincent B. (Valerie) Foley, Waterville, PA & Victor B. Foley, Renovo, PA. 1 Step-son: Dan (Mary) Snyder, Altoona, PA and one Step-daughter; Sally (Dan) Smith, Milesburg, PA. He is also survived by several sisters and four grandchildren, Kaelynn, Braden, Braylee and Brogan and four  Step-Grandchildren, John Long & Jared, Sara & Josh Smith.

Memorial services for Richard J. Foley, Jr. were held Tues., Sept. 2, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA  17751 Pastor Grant Helsel officiated. Friends were received one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
