BEA Tops Lady ‘Cats, 3-0
WINGATE – The Lady Wildcat volleyball team came up short in a road contest, Saturday, falling to Bald Eagle Area, 3-0.
BEA outpaced Central Mountain 25-17 in the first game then nearly duplicated that effort in the second game, 25-16. In the third game, the Lady ‘Cats pushed back with more intensity but came up short, 25-20.
Stat leaders for Central Mountain were Loni Duck with 4 kills, 9 assists and 3 digs. Evie Rembold had 7 kills, 1 assiat and 4 digs. Kyleigh McDermit had 4 kills and 1 dig. McKenzie Hanna had 2 kills, 2 assists and 6 digs. Abby Brinker had 2 aces and 6 digs. Mallory Eck had 2 kills, 2 assists and 6 digs. Emily Bartlet had 1 ace and 7 digs while Ali Lucas contributed 5 digs on the day.
The next challenge for the Lady Wildcats will be a road trip to face Philipsburg-Osceola, on Monday Sept. 28, 2020.
