RENOVO Ray W. “Bucky” Kitchen, III, 34, 117 9th St., Renovo, PA died June 1, 2016 at the Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo, PA.  Born Nov. 14, 1981 in Lock Haven he was the son of Ray W. “Buck” and Karen Rottmann Kitchen who survive in Renovo, PA.

On Oct. 14, 2010 he married Ashley M. Zimmerman who survives at home.

“Bucky” was a Corrections Officer at SCI Houtzdale, PA and had attained the rank of Sgt. He previously was employed at 1st Quality and Northern & Southern Railroad.  He was a member of PEBTF,  a 2000 graduate of the Bucktail High School and had attended Lock Haven University.

He enjoyed anything with his kids especially walking. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include three sons, Alex R. Kitchen, Andrew H. Kitchen and Keagan N. Kitchen at home,                          one sister   Natosha J. Kitchen, Renovo, PA, one brother: Brian M. (Anita Crossley) Kitchen, Renovo, PA, mother-in-law, Vickie Zimmerman, Winfield, PA, father-in-law, Randall Zimmerman, Milton, PA, two sisters-in-law,Linzey (Kyle) Woolsey, Milton, PA,  Katlynn (Philip) Reed, Sunbury, PA, one brother-in-law:  Lucas Zimmerman, State College, PA, seven nephews.

He was also loved by numerous Aunts, uncles, cousins, and “The FAM”.

A memorial service honoring the life of Ray W. “Bucky” Kitchen, III  was held Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 4 PM in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA with Martha Sykes  officiating.

Friends were received in the funeral home from 1-4 PM.
