Lester L. Wise – Obituary

Lester L. Wise, 90, of Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his home.

Born on June 7, 1925 in Woodward Township, he was the son of the late Arthur and Linda Walizer Wise.

Lester was a 1943 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He then served in the United States Navy during World War II.

On July 26, 1954 in Brunswick, New Jersey he married the former Josephine Manno who survives at home.

Lester was employed as a Warehouse Supervisor for American Color and Chemical.

He was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons: Jeffrey Wise of Florida and John W. (Mary Lee) Wise of Beech Creek; two daughters: Cindy (Rob) Ohl of Woolrich and Karen (Frank) Seyler of Mill Hall; a brother, John Wise; two sisters: June Quiggle and Marjorie Wise; a niece, Edna Nelson of Alabama; seven grandchildren: Danielle, Brian, and Jacob Wise, Erin Santonico, John and Zack Ohl, and Bradley Seyler; and two great grandchildren: Eli and Micah Santonico.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be at Dunnstown Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A., 33 Mill Hill Rd., Lock Haven.
