Delores A. Hubit (Dee), 97, of Williamsport, PA passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 in Williamsport, PA.
Delores was born in Kearny, NJ, to Frank and Alice Leaver on June 4,1927. She worked as a Buyer for Britt’s Department Store and in finance at Lakehurst Naval Air Station. She enjoyed bingo, crosswords, casinos and coloring. She recently completed PEER course training and was recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.
Delores is survived by her daughter ,Lorraine Arcadipane (Dennis) of Dunnstown, PA and sons Thomas Mitchell (Jean)of Florida and Charles Mitchell Jr.(Carol) of Texas. Dee is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in-death by her parents, six siblings, two husbands, three children, and one grandchild, Dante A. Battilla.
Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC are handling the funeral arrangements. There will be no public visitation. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff and residents of Williamsport South Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for the caring environment and loving support during Dee’s time there.
