Obituary
Linda T. (Bannon) Goodling, 60, of Renovo, PA, passed away at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA on January 1, 2022.
She was born in West Chester, PA on August 13, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Isabelle Bannon. She was married to Steven G. Goodling, Sr. of Renovo, on July 28, 1990, whom still survives.
She is also survived by four sisters; Mary Nettles of Mill Hall, Janet Bannon of Renovo, Beverly Henry and Charles of Castanea, Violet (Eric) Aughenbaugh of Rote; one brother; Ernest Bannon of Williamsport; three children, Nicholas Bannon of Lock Haven, Steven (Jollybeth) Goodling, Jr. of Jersey Shore, and Stephanie Straub of Flemington; and three grandchildren; Jayson, Noah, and Isabella; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Virginia Griener and Wilbur Bannon.
Linda worked for 17 years at Hilex Poly in Milesburg, as an extruder operator. She enjoyed making crafts with her husband and selling them at crafts shows where she enjoyed talking to people about her children, of whom she was very proud. She also enjoyed planning parties and other special occasions. Spending time with her family was always an enjoyment, especially around the holidays.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Maxwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations may be to the family to help offset the medical and funeral expenses or to the Hyner United Methodist Church.
