Jan Soderlund Cameron – Obituary
Surviving is her husband, James Cameron; a son, Bradley; and a step-son, Jason.
She is the daughter of Barbara and the late Kenneth Soderlund.
Her siblings are Susan Russell (Marvin), Kenneth Soderlund (Kimberly), LuAnn Bickel (Kurt), and JoAnn Campbell (Michael).
Jan had a deep love for animals and one that held her heart was her German Shepherd, Sage.
Like her father, she liked to garden; and like her mother, she was very creative. Jan and her sister had a business doing craft shows for 16 years.
Jan and Jim owned a camp where they had large family gatherings. So much fun, activities, and great memories were made there.
There were many family vacations with her sister JoAnn and her family. They drove across the country twice and several trips were spent traveling through Canada.
Jan sponsored a little girl in India. She started when Jasmine was 8 and put her through school and now nursing school. She will finish in two years.
There was so much goodness in Jan and she was such a wonderful person to be around. Her energy and presence will be missed so very much.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 1 PM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 East Walnut Street, Lock Haven with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. Burial will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 East Church Street, Lock Haven, on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m.
