Western Clinton Sportsman’s Association Upgrades Clubhouse with Custom Metal Roof by Homecrest Roofing
By Kevin Rauch
HYNER- The Western Clinton Sportsman’s Association received a new metal roof on their complex building located on their grounds in Hyner. The original roof was over 25 years old before being replaced by Homecrest Roofing over the course of a few days last week.
During the roof replacement some irregularities were located due to the initial improper insulating application. This added an unexpected extra cost to the WCSA. The officers appreciated Homecrest not only for identifying and repairing those issues, but also for working with the WCSA financially to perform the necessary corrections to meet their standards.
In addition to the building being a staple for western Clinton County outdoor enthusiasts, the clubhouse also serves as a rental for a myriad of events, parties and weddings.
Homecrest manufactured the metal roof on site, leading to no visible screws in the roof.
Additionally, the custom snowguards feature the design likeness of deer, bear and pine trees that highlight the roof with accents perfectly fitting of the WCSA and their location just off of the Susquehanna River and setting in the shadow of Hyner View.
