Obituary-Jolene Shay Rich
Jolene Shay Rich, 76, of Woolrich passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at her home.
Born May 29, 1948 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Funk) Shay.
Jolene was a 1966 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was married to Michael B. Rich, III, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
Jolene was the Assistant Manager of the Woolrich Store for 35 years. She was then employed at Walmart for 4 years prior to retiring.
She was Methodist by faith.
Jolene looked forward to her get-togethers with her ’66 Sisters as well as her monthly outings with the Woolrich Girls.
She enjoyed reading and especially loved traveling with her late daughter, Sonja.
Along with her husband, Michael Rich, III of Woolrich, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tammy Rich of Mill Hall; brother, Vincent (Vivienne) Shay of Mill Hall; and grandchildren: Park Barner, IV, Mikayla Beth Rich and Ashley Nicole Rich.
She was preceded in death by her children, Michael Rich, IV and Sonja Barner.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 6 until 8 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. Inurnment will be at Woolrich Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Jolene’s name may be to Millbrook Playhouse through the funeral home.
