Obituary – Carl William (CT) Thuran
Carl William (CT) Thuran, 82, prior to residing in Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada and until recently Mil Hall, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Hillside Senior Living, Montoursville, PA.
Carl was born in Canton, Ohio to Sarah and Carl F. Thuran on August 1, 1942. He went on to earn a certificate in Computers and then joined the Navy. He worked until retirement for Choice Hotels International for a number of years. He enjoyed restoring cars, car shows, boating and camping. He was a member of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lock Haven and most recently attended services at the United Methodist Church in Mackeyville.
On July 17, 1965 he married Linette (Bottorf) Thuran In Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is survived by his brother, Michael Williams of Phoenix, Arizona, son Christopher Thuran, wife Mary, grandchildren, Justin Thuran (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), Jade Crespo and her husband, Stanley, Jenna Thuran, as well as, great grandchildren, Arlo, Asher and Niko Crespo of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-laws, Mary Steinbacher and Evelyn Rhine, husbands, Robert Steinbacher and Larry Rhine of Mill Hall.
A private graveside service will be held for family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County SPCA ,33 Mil Hall Road, Lock Haven, PA 17745. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hillside Senior Living for the excellent care and compassion while residing at the facility.
