Michael L. Coleman – Obituary
RENOVO – Michael L. Coleman, 72, of Renovo passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his residence.
He was born November 24, 1945 in Renovo a son of the late Thomas and Marcella (Flagg) Coleman.
Michael was married to the former Janice L. Maxwell who preceded him in death on March 5, 2015.
He was the owner/operator of Coleman Construction from 1978-2013. He built many local small bridges.
Michael was raised by his grandmother Mammy Coleman who he held a special place in his heart for. He was an active member of the Elks which he loved so much and was past exalted ruler, treasurer and honorary member. He enjoyed spending time with his family fishing in New Jersey on his boat.
Surviving are four sons, Michael T. (Diane) Coleman, Steven M. Coleman, Timothy M. Coleman and Jason A. (Pauline) Coleman and two daughters Brenda L. (Michael) Hand and Katie (Matt) Linberg all of Renovo; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
He is survived by a brother Jeffery Flagg of Erie.
Michael was preceded in death by a son Thomas Joseph Coleman and a sister Julie Brandt.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo with Martha Sykes officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service.
Private interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
