NEWCOMB – Frank Mills, 74 of Pine Tree Rd., and formally Renovo, Pa. went on to meet his favorite pets, Dawg and Maggie as well as his family and friends that traveled on ahead of him on Sept 3,2015.

He was born Mar. 6, 1941 in Renovo, PA to Maude and William Mills. Being named after local Dr. Frank Dwyer.

Frank had an amazing life. Truly a person who could say “I did it all”.
Serving in the U.S Navy for 9 years as a radioman. Helping with some of the main communications during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Over the years, after the navy, working as a butcher and policeman among other jobs. Finally settling in as a cable splicer/ communication tech for several telecom companies from Texas to Florida, Rhode Island to New York State. Retiring early, 1989, after an on the job accident that affected his ability to work and causing him to spend several years of surgeries and leaning to walk again but never giving up. Spending his time working on redoing an old house, woodworking and enjoying just being alive.

He was predeceased by his parents, one sister Jean Holtzapple and his brother Paul.

Frank is survived by his best friend and wife of 31 years, Suzanne Viele Deforge. One brother Jack, his sister Anna Werts and a son Philip of Renovo, Pa

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, there will be no services.
