Lorena Irene Tyson – Obituary

wpid14121-l-tyson-150707.jpgLorena Irene Tyson, 90, of Fishing Creek Rd., Mill Hall, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her home.

Born on March 22, 1925 in Kylertown, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Whitton Renoe.

Lorena was married to the love of her life, Paul “Bud” L. Johnston who preceded her in death on 1973.

Over the years she was a seamstress at Bobbie Brooks as well as Woolrich Woolen Mills. She also drove school bus for Schrack’s Valley Services.

Lorena was Methodist by faith.

She was a wonderful seamstress. Lorena also loved to go fishing and hunting.

She always welcomed company into her house and was helpful to everyone, never turning anyone away.

Surviving is a daughter, Judith (Edward) Lanich of Blountstown, FL; two foster daughters, Alice Kemmerer of Lock Haven and Sally Lucas of Mill Hall; eight grandchildren: Lanie Davis, Dewey Alan Heichel, Debbie I. Wagner, Susan Dauberman, Anita Toner, Kaitlin Toner, Jesse Gadd, and Johnny Gadd; eleven great grandchildren: Joey, Nikki, Keith, Dalton, Dewey, Jr., Jordan, Jada, Christopher, Jr., Aaron, Blake, and Mira; and a great, great grandson, Gage.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Caroline Folmar and Melva Faye Renoe.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven.
