Obituary – Reggie Larue Mauck
Reggie Larue Mauck, 71, of Howard, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born in Lock Haven on August 22, 1951, he was the son of the late Elwood and Dorothy Hayes Mauck.
Reggie was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1968 until his Honorable Discharge in 1970.
On March 31, 1973 in Lock Haven, he married the love of his life, the former Carol E. McGill, who survives.
Reggie was employed at Champion Auto Parts in Lock Haven until his retirement after over 25 years of service.
He enjoyed the outdoors – especially hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Shannon (Keith) Dunlap of Avis; two grandchildren, Colton (Julia Knarr) Dunlap of Lock Haven and Kalob Mauck who resided with his Pap and shared a special bond with him; a niece, Nicole (Mark) Brady of Jersey Shore; and a great niece, Marissa Brady of Jersey Shore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Woody Mauck; and his two loving dogs, Nittany and Jack.
A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 7 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Donald Grant officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
