PA State Police – Lamar Barracks
Harassment w/Physical Contact
RENOVO BOROUGH— On May 27, 2025, at 5:39 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Erie Avenue for a report of harassment. Through investigation, it was determined that an altercation between a 44-year-old female and a 70-year-old female, both of Renovo, had occurred. Both individuals claimed that they had been struck by the other. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.

DUNNSTABLE TOWNSHIP— On May 27, 2025, at approximately 4:14 p.m., a physical altercation occurred near the 100 block of Big Plum Road involving a 17-year-old female, a 15-year-old male, and a 67-year-old female victim of Lock Haven. According to the police report, all parties had unwanted physical contact and were charged with Summary Harassment through Magisterial District Court 25-3-01 by Trooper Colton Killion.
Indecent Exposure
WAYNE TOWNSHIP— On May 15, 2025, PSP Lamar investigated a complaint of Indecent Exposure that occurred on May 13 at the Clinton County Courthouse. The case has been closed due to the victim’s unwillingness to cooperate.
Motor Vehicle Crash
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 14, 2025, Tyler Burkey, 26, of Ridgeway, PA, was involved in a crash while traveling west on I-80. Burkey’s Kenworth Northwest commercial vehicle left the roadway via the right shoulder and struck the end of a guide rail head-on, causing severe front-end damage to the truck and damaging the guide rail. The vehicle came to a final rest on its passenger side, on the right side of the guide rail.

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 24, 2025, Matthew Garneau, 19, of Jacksonville, FL, was traveling east in the center lane of I-80 when, for unknown reasons, he left his lane and struck a slower-moving Freightliner truck driven by Shaun Morgan, 48, of Irwin, PA, which was in the far right lane. Garneau’s Chevrolet Silverado collided head-on with the rear side of Morgan’s truck, causing disabling damage to the Silverado. The vehicle came to a stop in the far right lane. Morgan’s Freightliner sustained minor damage to its rear side but was able to be driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 23, 2025, at 12:27 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred on Nittany Valley Drive near Mackeyville Road. Both vehicles, driven by Jay Merryman, 81, of Avis, and Heather Markley, 42, of Mill Hall, were traveling south. Markley, operating a General Motors Corporation vehicle, was stopped in the right lane, waiting for vehicles ahead to turn. Merryman failed to notice that Markley’s vehicle was stopped and struck it from behind. A passenger in Merryman’s Chevrolet Cobalt was transported to UPMC Lock Haven for suspected minor injuries. Merryman’s vehicle sustained damage and was towed from the scene. Markley’s vehicle had minor damage to the rear bumper, and no injuries were reported for anyone in her vehicle.

CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP— On May 25, 2025, at approximately 12:12 p.m., PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched to 12171 Renovo Road for a welfare check. Upon the Troopers’ arrival, it was discovered that a physical altercation had occurred. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP—On May 24, 2025, at 1:53 a.m., PSP Lamar troopers responded to a domestic dispute in progress on Park Avenue involving two brothers, aged 58 and 61, both from Lock Haven. During an argument over money, the 58-year-old struck his brother on the shoulder with a 2×4 board, resulting in a minor injury. A non-traffic citation for harassment was issued to the 58-year-old as a result of the incident.
Corruption of Minors
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 5, 2025, PSP Lamar was contacted by an internet watchdog service in Canada to check on the internet activity of a person near Herr Street. This investigation is ongoing.
Disorderly Conduct
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 25, 2025, at 4:08 a.m., PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched to 1189 W. 4th Street for a report of a male attempting to open the door of a residence. When troopers arrived at 4:16 a.m., they found Christopher Hastings, 53, of Lock Haven, across the street in Grove Community Park. Hastings had fallen several times, resulting in minor injuries. According to the report, Hastings was visibly impaired and admitted to using drugs earlier in the day. Troopers also discovered that Hastings had uprooted planted flowers from a flower bed in the park. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital for a medical evaluation. Hastings was cited for Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, Public Drunkenness, and Similar Misconduct.
Endangering Welfare of a Child
COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP— On May 21, 2025, at approximately 2:56 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a residence on Furnace Road to conduct a welfare check on a juvenile female due to her concerns of neglect involving a child. After investigation, the incident was determined to be unfounded, and the case has been closed.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
SOUTH RENOVO BOROUGH— On May 20, 2025, at approximately 7:28 p.m., a male contacted police to inquire about obtaining a restraining order. Further questioning revealed that his request was related to being pushed by his roommate about 24 hours earlier. Both individuals indicated that they did not wish to pursue any further police action regarding the incident.
Motor Vehicle Crash
GREENE TOWNSHIP— On May 13, 2025, at 2:32 a.m., Hermes Bonilla-Jimenez, 36, of Newark, NJ, was involved in a crash while traveling east in the left lane of I-80. Bonilla-Jimenez reported that another vehicle entered his lane, causing him to leave the roadway and lose control on the left shoulder. His Volvo VNL overturned onto its right side and came to a final stop approximately 15 feet off the roadway. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front end and right side.
Criminal Trespass
GALLAGHER TOWNSHIP— On May 19, 2025, at approximately 9:20 p.m., a white Chevy Silverado with a black hood scoop and an LED-mounted light on the roof trespassed and tampered with property on a 2,373-acre plot of land in Gallagher and Pine Creek Township. More specifically, this property is located East of Coudersport Pike and West of Big Springs Road. Two white males and one white female were observed on the property. Theft by Deception
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 20, 2025, at approximately 4:47 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated a report of identity theft involving a 52-year-old victim from Mill Hall. No further information was included in the report of this incident.
Criminal Mischief
CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP— On May 17, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a report of criminal mischief on Barger Road. Upon arrival, troopers observed a bullet hole in an outbuilding, which caused damage to both the building and a DeWalt saw inside. The investigation led to the identification of the individual responsible for firing the shot. However, the owner of the outbuilding declined to press charges.
Found Property
LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On April 27, 2025, at approximately 4:22 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated a report of Found Property at 155 Campground Road. A Smith & Wesson M&P Shield handgun, along with a magazine and Hornady ammunition, was recovered. The owner of the property is asked to contact Trooper Hall at the PSP Lamar Barracks by calling 570-726-6000.
Firearm-Not to Posess
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 12, 2025, at 6:04 p.m., Trooper Hunter Hall stopped a Gray 2025 Hyundai on I-80 West after observing traffic violations. During the stop, numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed. Consent to search the vehicle was requested and granted. The search yielded approximately 9 grams of suspected cocaine and a stolen handgun, which was hidden inside a natural void in the vehicle. Charges were filed against the vehicle’s occupants, Jerome Bellamy, 52, and Tammy Johnson, 54, both of Jamestown, NY, through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Accidental Shooting
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 16, 2025, an incident involving an accidental shooting at 300 Birch Street was reported to PSP Lamar. This investigation is ongoing.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On May 15, 2025, PSP Lamar troopers responded to the report of a domestic disturbance on Summer Mountain Road. On the scene, an investigation was conducted, and it was determined that Mindie Wetzel, 38, of Loganton, struck a 40-year-old male victim in the back. Charges for Harassment were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.
Hit and Run
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On May 15, 2025, at approximately 7:58 p.m., a hit-and-run crash occurred on Keystone Central Drive near the intersection with Plunket Run Road. According to the police report, David Hibbler, 31, of Lock Haven, crossed the center line and briefly drove in the wrong lane before striking a guide rail on the left side of the road. He then hit an embankment on the right side, causing the Chevrolet Trax he was driving to overturn and come to a final stop on its roof. Hibbler fled the scene prior to police arrival. Multiple citations have been filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On May 15, 2025, at 6:03 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a physical domestic dispute that occurred near Lionel Lane and Merlyn Drive. An unidentified female was charged with Harassment through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02 as a result of the incident.
Found Property
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On May 14, 2025, PSP was notified of a lump sum of cash that was found at 5609 Nittany Valley Drive, the Flying J Travel Center. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000.
Hit and Run
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 11, 2025, at approximately 4:16 p.m., a hit-and-run crash occurred near 529 High Street. The driver of a red Honda SUV failed to safely enter the roadway while leaving a parking spot, resulting in a collision with a vehicle driven by Heaven Yeagle, 19, of Lock Haven, who was unable to stop in time. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Yeagle stopped to exchange information, but the driver of the Honda left the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 13, 2025, a crash occurred on Long Run Road near the intersection with the US-220 South Exit 107 ramp. Megan Merrill, 31, of Mill Hall, was traveling north on Long Run Road when Curtis Avery, 26, of Wellsboro, entered the Long Run Road from the 107 exit ramp and struck Merrill’s vehicle on the right side. Following the collision, both vehicles came to a controlled stop off the roadway. Merrill sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Terroristic Threats
MILL HALL BOROUGH— On May 12, 2025, at 8:16 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to Central Mountain Middle School, 200 Ben Avenue, for a report of a former student making threats to “shoot up the school.” The actor was located, taken into custody, and charged with Terroristic Threats (Felony 3rd Degree), and was transferred into the custody of the Clinton County Juvenile Probation Department. There were no additional threats, and this was considered an isolated incident.
Assault w/Bodily Injury
LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On April 23, 2025, PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched to Summer Mountain Road for a domestic dispute between a 14-year-old and his mother. The 14-year-old allegedly struck his mother in the head with a PlayStation controller, kicked her in the stomach, and scratched her arm. This incident is pending further investigation and charges.
Criminal Mischief
AVIS BOROUGH— On May 10, 2025, at 9:30 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a report of criminal mischief. Upon troopers’ arrival, it was determined that a known suspect had arrived at a residence on Railroad Street and smashed a window, however the homeowner did not wish to file charges.
Sexual Assault
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP– On April 30, 2025, PSP Lamar responded to Keystone Central Drive and investigated a reported Sexual Assault. The investigation revealed that the claims were unfounded, and no further action was taken.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On May 9, 2025, at 12:48 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Walmart in Mill Hall for a report of retail theft. Dillyn Reibsome, M, 19, of Bloomsburg, allegedly under-rang a water bottle valued at $29.94. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02 for summary retail theft.
Theft from Building
LEIDY TOWNSHIP– On April 26, 2025, at 9:59 a.m., PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched after receiving a report of a burglary. On the scene, an investigation was conducted, which determined that no items were stolen and a burglary had not occurred. Items were located within the residence and had just been misplaced. This incident is listed as unfounded.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
RENOVO BOROUGH— On April 26, 2025, at 12:36 p.m., PSP Lamar troopers responded to a third-party report of an active fight on Erie Avenue. On the scene, no fight was observed. Troopers canvassed the area and identified a victim, who declined to press charges after being interviewed. The suspects were also identified, and no charges will be filed in connection with this incident.
Motor Vehicle Crash
GRUGAN TOWNSHIP— On May 9, 2025, a crash occurred on SR-120 (Renovo Road) involving Lorie Farrell, 52, of Mill Hall. Farrell was traveling north in the northbound lane when her Chevrolet TrailBlazer crossed over the southbound lanes and left the road on the west side. The front of the vehicle struck a raised embankment and continued traveling north along the embankment for several feet before coming to a stop facing north. Farrell was transported by ambulance to UPMC Lock Haven with suspected minor injuries.
Theft
LOGANTON BOROUGH— On April 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., PSP Lamar troopers were dispatched to Meadow Lane for a reported theft. On the scene, a suspect was identified, and through investigation, it was determined that he had stolen multiple items valued at $3,458.68, according to the report. The items were recovered the same day, and upon completing the investigation, the victim declined prosecution in the case.
Motor Vehicle Crash
GREENE TOWNSHIP– On May 8, 2025, a crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 191.2 involving Jeanette Rice, 72, of Lancaster. Rice was traveling in the left lane and negotiating a left curve when she lost control of her Chevrolet Silverado, causing its trailing unit to overturn onto its right side. The vehicle came to a final stop on the north side of I-80 East in a grassy area facing east. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Theft by Deception – ATM Card
COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP— On April 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., PSP Lamar troopers received a report of theft from a bank account. The incident occurred in Michigan, where an unknown individual used personal information belonging to a Farrandsville resident to make unauthorized purchases. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000 and reference incident number PA25-494346.

WAYNE TOWNSHIP— On May 9, 2025, at 7:50 a.m., a crash occurred in the 400 block of McKinney Road. David Lohr, 42, of Lock Haven, was traveling east when several raccoons entered the roadway from the north side. Lohr attempted to swerve to avoid the animals, but lost control of his Nissan Rogue. The vehicle went off the road via the south berm and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.
Residential Burglary
FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 9, 2025, PSP Lamar responded to High Street for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon investigation, the incident was determined to be unfounded.
Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On May 5, 2025, at 3:07 p.m., PSP Lamar was dispatched to Millbrook Plaza for a report of retail theft from Weis Markets. Through investigation, a 62-year-old male actor from Lock Haven was identified, and charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On May 9, 2025, at 7:19 a.m., Jennifer Young, 33, of Howard, was traveling south on US-220 near mile marker 110.4. While negotiating a right-hand curve in the left lane during rainy weather, Young lost control of her vehicle. The car veered into a guide rail on the southeast side of US-220, scraping along it for approximately five yards before coming to an uncontrolled stop in the left travel lane. Young was wearing her seatbelt, and no injuries were reported.

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 8, 2025, at 6:29 p.m., a crash occurred as Billie Topp, 41, of Lock Haven, was exiting the parking lot at 543 High Street and failed to yield to another vehicle driven by Courtney Rager, 29, of Mill Hall, who was traveling westbound on High Street. Topp struck the passenger side of Rager’s vehicle before completing the turn and then continued for about 10 yards before coming to a stop in the center turn lane. Rager’s vehicle initially stopped in the right lane, then completed a U-turn and came to a controlled stop in the center turn lane. No injuries were reported, but Topp’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Assault/Teacher/Bodily Injury
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On April 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., a physical incident occurred involving a male juvenile student and a teacher at Central Mountain High School, Keystone Central Drive. The student allegedly shoulder-checked the teacher two times before swinging at them with an open fist. During the altercation, the teacher did not fight back. Charges were filed for Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct through the Clinton County Juvenile Probation Office.
Reckless Endangerment
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On May 3, 2025, PSP Lamar investigated an incident of neglect of a care-dependent person on Beagle Road. This investigation is ongoing.
Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
NOYES TOWNSHIP— On May 6, 2025, at 11:13 a.m., PennDOT reported that an orange and white Stihl brand chainsaw valued at $400 had been stolen. The chainsaw was sitting alongside the road on SR-120 near its intersection with Kettle Creek Road. When PennDOT road crew workers returned a short time later to retrieve the chainsaw, they discovered that it was gone. There are no suspects at this time.
