Gentzyel Sisters Earn Dean’s List
Karlye Rose Gentzyel and Kaetha Lucy Gentzyel of North Bend have both achieved Dean’s List at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Kaetha is a 2014 graduate of Bucktail Area High School. She is majoring in Education with a minor in Special Education and Psychology. She is in her freshmen year with a GPA of 3.75.
Karlye is a 2012 graduate of Bucktail Area High School. She is majoring in Natural Science and a Minor in Chemistry and Biology. Karlye was pledged into the Chemistry Female and Male Fraternity and she was inducted into the Biology Honor Society by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a Doctorate of Dentistry after her Bachelor’s degree. She has achieved Dean’s List every semester and is in her junior year with a GPA of 3.65.
Karlye and Kaetha are the daughters of proud parents Carl and Pamela Gentzyel of North Bend also sisters of loving Brother Mario Gentzyel, security guard and S.O.R.T. Team member at Allenwood Federal Prison.
Karlye has also been recognized as a Provost Scholar at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. At the start of the fall semester, any undergraduate student who meets the following requirement is eligible to be named a Provost Scholar: a current junior with a minimum of 45 semester hours earned at IUP with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Provost Scholar recognition is given only once during a student’s time of study at IUP.
Karlye is the daughter of Carl and Pam Gentzyel of North Bend and is currently attending IUP for a B.S. in Natural Science/Pre-Dentistry.
