Obituary

Ronald T. Lomax, Jr., 63, of Renovo died of natural causes at Rose View Nursing & Rehabilitation in Williamsport on Sunday October 16, 2022.

He was born on April 20, 1959 in Renovo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Sr. and Pauline. Also, his step-father Daniel Venturato.

He is survived by two brothers, John (Sonia) Lomax of Snow Shoe and Michael (Sue) Lomax of Huntsville, AL. Two sisters, Tina (Sam) Shirk of Bellefonte and Julia (Gary) Keibler of Blanchard. Also, a step-brother Joe (Liz) Venturato of Danbury, CT and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ronald was a graduate of Bucktail Area High School in 1977. He was a member of the American Legion Post 442. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and enjoyed collecting player cards from the teams and also playing Euchre and pool.

He enlisted in the Air Force in 1977 and served until April of 1981 when he was honorably discharged.

He resided for many years in Columbus, OH where he was employed by Leibert Ind. And Volvo Inc.

There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner with the Rev. Joseph Orr officiating. The American Legion of Renovo will conduct military honors. A reception will be held following the service at the American Legion in Renovo.
