Todd Warner new Clinton VA Director

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Commissioners at their Monday work session introduced the county’s new director of veterans affairs. He is Todd Warner of Howard. Board chairman Miles Kessinger said Warner will officially be hired at the board’s voting session on Thursday but the new hire began his duties as of Monday.

Warner has an extensive military career, including an active duty stint in the Iraqi Freedom campaign and time at the Pentagon; he retired from the Army Reserve in 2016. In civilian life, Warner told the commissioners, he spent many years as a factory manager in Centre County, retiring at the end of 2022.

Warner said he was about to pursue a substitute teaching path in the Keystone Central School District when he was made aware of the veterans affairs office vacancy. He said he has spent his life being responsible for others, said Clinton County has a great military history and talked of approaching the Army ROTC unit at Commonwealth University – Lock Haven for assistance with a volunteer food distribution effort in the county.

Warner, who is also a sports broadcaster for Bald Eagle Area High School, said he and his wife are looking forward to bee-keeping on land they own in West Keating Township.

The new V-A chief replaces Jennifer Hagaman who left the post as of Jan. 20 to accept a position with the state.
