“Craft Show” Luncheon Set For October 26
LOCK HAVEN, PA- On Wednesday, October 26 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Craft Show” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.
The feature is the portion of the program when a knowledgeable speaker or someone who can demonstrate something of interest to the ladies is spotlighted. October’s feature is actually a craft show. About 10 of some pf the ladies’ favorite crafters will be present to display and sell their wares. There will be quilting, cards, wood carving, food, knitted items. hand-fashioned silver jewelry and much more. Vendors will be available before the luncheon and after as well.
There is always a musical component at the luncheons. That part of October’s program will be presented by a favorite area alto, Glenda McMann.
The featured speaker will be Jennifer Ebaugh from Evans City, PA
The program begins at 11:50 AM, however, since this is also a craft show the doors will open for the ladies to shop at 10:15 AM. The cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.
This is a perfectly good time to meet new friends and catch up with long-time friends! The luncheon is a warm and welcoming way to renew and refresh. The group is requesting that all who plan to attend make reservations.
