Keystone Juniors move to title game, 13-3 over Montgomery

LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP, PA – Keystone Junior baseball manager Steve Shade said he was well pleased with the play of his squad after a 13-3 win over Montgomery in the winners’ bracket final played in Loyalsock Township Wednesday evening. Shade said his squad turned in a complete game.
Keystone did not have a lot of hits, but did not need many in routing Montgomery and moving into the district final set for Monday, July 11 at Montoursville against an opponent to be determined.
Wednesday’s game was tight through three innings, Keystone holding a 3-2 lead. But a 5-spot in the fourth and three more in the fifth helped break things open. Austin Frank started on the mound for Keystone and Blake Walker finished up. Walker led the offense with two doubles.
