Keystone Juniors score first round win, 21-10

LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP, PA – The Keystone Junior All-Stars used a 10-run second inning to open things up and go on and defeat East Lycoming by a 21-10 score on Friday evening.

Blake Walker was the big gun offensively for Keystone; he went 4-for-5 with a homerun and was in the middle of the 10-run second with a two-run homerun and a two-run single.  Watt Probst also had multiple hits for Keystone, including an RBI single in the second. The Keystone kids received some help from East Lycoming in the pivotal second: Hayes Miller and Josh Ludlow were hit by pitches and drove in runs; Hunter Donley drew a walk to drive in a run and Cole Cooper had a sacrifice fly for an RBI.

Keystone finished with nine hits for the evening and stole four bases. Cole Cooper leading the way with two on the night.

With the win Keystone moves to the winners’ bracket final scheduled for Wednesday, July 6 at Montoursville. The opponent will be the winner of a Friday game between South Williamsport and Montgomery.
