Anna Christine “Tene” Dale
Anna Christine “Tene” Dale, 96, of Canal St., Flemington, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Susque-View Home.
Born in Flemington on May 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Blanche S. Snavely Floruss.
Tene was a 1942 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On August 7, 1942, she married Kenneth E. Dale, Sr., who preceded her in death April 6, 2007.
Tene was a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and crafts. She also loved spending time watching the wildlife around her home from her porch swing.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth E. (Thelma) Dale, Jr. of Flemington; a daughter, Frances L. Kramer; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several special nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her parents and husband, Tene was preceded in death by three sisters, Marjorie J. Floruss, Louise Killinger and Mary Eisaman; a granddaughter, Angela; and a great grandson, Dillon.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
