Richard L. Winner – Obituary
Richard L. Winner, 75, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born September 16, 1945, Rich was the son of the late Russell and Mary Shoemaker Winner.
He was a 1963 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
Rich served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
On March 24, 1967 in Lock Haven, he married the former Trudi A. Hawkins, who survives.
Rich worked for Conrail for many years as a bridge builder.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR and PGA golf tournaments on TV. He also loved playing golf, especially with his friends Mike Christopher and Harry Grubb and always looked forward to his trips to camp with his friends Mike Seybold and Mike Maggs.
In addition to his wife, Trudi, he is survived by his son, Scott L. Winner of Howard; two sisters, Beverly (Rick) Herrold of Avis and Deanna (Buddy) Jodun of Jersey Shore; two brothers, Dennis (Kathleen Merrill) Winner of Lock Haven and William Winner of Flemington; two grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor Winner; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy and Calvin Winner.
Per the wishes of Rich, there will be no services.
