CM is 3-2 at Heartland Golf Tourney
WHITE DEER – The Wildcat golf team headed to White Deere Golf Course Monday for their match against the Heartland league teams.
Team scores were Wildcats, 371, Loyalsock/Montoursville, 382, Mifflinburg, 392, Selinsgrove, 364, Shikellamy, 414 and Williamsport, 362.
Wildcat coach, Dave Williams was a little disappointed with the loss to Selinsgrove and Williamsport, but one of the top scorers for Central Mountain had to withdraw because of a knee injury.
The team is now 16-4 against the Heartland teams and 19-6 overall for the season.
Medalist for the day was William Knauth for Williamsport with a 77.
Medalist for the Wildcats was again, senior Gage Sorgen, 86.
Other scores for the team were Cole Reeder, 96, Justin Somers, 97, freshman Tyler Adair, 92, and freshman Austin Rager, 99.
The team heads back out to Nittany Country Club Thursday to play Bellefonte and Tyrone.
