Jack L. Cardamone – Obituary
Jack L. Cardamone, 75, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Frey Village, Middletown.
Born October 20, 1944 in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Benjamin J. and Anna Mae (McNeeley) Cardamone.
Jack was a 1962 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Jack was a carpenter by trade and retired from Myers Construction Company. Jack also worked for Piper Aircraft, Penn Artic, Hickes Construction and also various construction companies over the years.
On March 16, 1990 in Winchester, VA, he married the former Randi Shearer, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.
Jack was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Agnes Catholic Church.
He was an avid runner and ran in all the local 10k races. He also participated in the Marine Corp Marathon.
Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being outdoors.
In addition to his wife, Randi Cardamone of Carlisle, he is survived by two children, Brian (Melissa) Cardamone of Maryland and Angela (Dan) Campos of Maine; two step-children, Rochelle (Scott) Casses of Boiling Springs and Phillip (Lori) Andrus of East Berlin; 10 grandchildren: Caroline, Nicholas and Tyler Cardamone, Benjamin and Carlina Campos; Palmer and Thomas “TJ” Casses, and Hannah, Haley and Hayden Andrus; and his beloved dog, Chole Ann.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Cardamone.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1 P.M. at Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745 with Mr. Doyle Tressler officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
