Shirley E. Hemphill – Obituary
Shirley E. Hemphill, 83, of Lock Haven, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Susque-View Home, Lock Haven.
She was born in Philipsburg, PA on August 21, 1937, the daughter of the late Daniel and Helen Frank Bean.
Shirley was an avid fan of Elvis Presley for many years. Her greatest joy was found in her time spent with her family; especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Bruce) MacDonald of Flemington and Sandy (John) Probst of Salladasburg; two sons, Don and Wayne Hemphill, both of New Jersey; a sister, Donna Blanar of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Buck Bean of Pennsylvania and Norman Bean of Florida; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ray Hemphill; four brothers; and one sister.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received for a viewing on Wednesday from Noon until the start of the service.
