LHU COVID-19 Cases up Two

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven University on Thursday reported two more positive tests for coronavirus, running the total to 45. The school’s dashboard listed 94 more tests from Wednesday to Thursday, for a total of 985, with a positivity rate of 4.78, down slightly from Wednesday’s 4.82 figure.

The school earlier this week began two weeks of remote instruction only because of an upsurge in cases.

LHU is aiming for a Sept. 21 resumption of face-to-face classes, but before that can happen there will be reentry COVID-19 testing available to all students living on or off campus and/or taking face-to-face classes and to employees. The voluntary testing will be done Sept. 16-17 and results processed before Monday, Sept. 21.

The LHU dashboard can be seen at http://www.lockhaven.edu/Covid19Dashboard/ and is normally updated daily at 9 a.m. on weekdays.
